Petition Guidelines 3.25 A petition can be presented to Council in writing (other than pencil), or in electronic form.3.26 Petitions submitted to council must include: a clear and concise statement covering the subject matter of the petition. The statement should state what action petitioners want Council to take; and the name, address and signature or email address in the case of electronic Policy petitions of any person supporting the petition.
